Yvonne Unwin

Yvonne (Gauge) Unwin, 85, formerly of 112 St. James Avenue, Manchester, died May 18, 2000, at Laurel Center, Bedford after a long illness. She was born in Manchester, NH on July 2, 1914, the daughter of Albert and Lucienne (Poliquin) Courtois and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. She was the widow of Thomas Gauge who died in 1959 and Howard Unwin who died in 1990. She was a member of the AFL-CIO. Family members include her daughter Mrs. Alan (Elaine) Paul of San Diego, California, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Leo Courtois, a sister, Antoinette Wheeler, a sister-in-law Pauline Courtois, all of Manchester, two nieces and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium Chapel, 243 Hanover Street, on Saturday from noon to 2 PM with a service immediately following in the funeral home chapel at 2 PM. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
