Yvonne G. Vanasse

Yvonne G. (Rivard) Vanasse, 91, formerly of 84 Lucille Street, died February 18, 2003 at Hanover Hill Health Care Center. She was born in Manchester on April 11, 1911, the daughter of Eugena and Celina (Beland) Rivard and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She was the widow of James Vanasse who died in 1952. She enjoyed her years spent at Hanover Hill and had made many friends there. Family members include a son, Henri Vanasse of Nashville, TN; three daughters, Irene Howard, Mrs. George (Alice) Prash and Mrs. Ronald (Doris) Foley all of Manchester; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; and several cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 8:00 PM.
