Zachary Tyler Fancy, 18, of Loudon passed away at home unexpectedly on Monday, February 8, 2016.
Zachary was born in Concord on November 15, 1997 to Patricia Lynn Fancy. He grew up in the Concord area and attended Merrimack Valley High School from freshman to junior year. He transferred to CSI Charter School in Penacook for senior year and had just completed his first semester of studies. Zach had recently joined the team at Dunkin Donuts in Loudon.
Zach was an avid musician and artist. He played three types of saxophone with the Merrimack Valley band and he had a natural gift for drawing that began developing when he was a small child. He was also skilled in technology; having built his own computer and participated in national gaming competitions. Zach was a Cub Scout when he was little and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and archery his whole life. Described by his family as a happy, easy, quiet kid with a wonderful sense of humor, Zachary was an incredible friend to many and he will be deeply missed.
Zach is survived by his loving mother, Patricia L. Fancy and her partner, Jay Belisle; his cherished maternal grandparents, Roy and Lori Fancy; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Zach's life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Donations in Zach's memory may be made to the Merrimack Valley High School Music Department, made payable to MVHS-Music and mailed to 106 Village Street, Penacook, NH 03303.
